• Morning Reading
From Monday to Friday, morning reading takes place in the classroom from 8:00 to 8:20 AM. After returning to school, students read quietly together to cultivate the good reading habits.
  • Theme-based Reading
In line with the school's development plan, this year’s theme focuses on mental health and STEAM. Relevant books will be displayed in the library, and book sharing will be held to encourage students to pay more attention to mental well-being and familiarize themselves with popular science books. Additionally,  National Security Education Reading Corner will be set up in the school hall to raise students' awareness of national security and foster a sense of national identity.
  • Meet-the-Authors
Each year, authors are invited to the school to share their creative journeys and insights on reading, allowing students to learn the wisdom and lessons from these experiences while enhancing their interest in reading and writing.
  • Hand in hand reading scheme
Teachers pair some P4 students with P1 students as the buddies. Teachers teach the P4 students reading buddy techniques. This allows the senior students to read with the junior ones during their free time, providing a joyful reading experience, enhancing literacy skills, and fostering a culture of care within the school community.
  • Book Crossing
The goal of the "Book Crossing” is to allow students to share the joy of reading through book exchanges, which can also increase their reading volume. Before the Parents’ Day, students donate books and receive book vouchers, which they can use to select books on the Parents’ Day.
